Description

The Ultion TS007 3-star diamond cylinder is one of the most secure locks currently available on the market. It has been tested by the Master Locksmith Association and is accredited with the Sold Secure Diamond seal of approval, their highest standard.

The Ultion lock features 11 pins making this an extra secure door cylinder, as most cylinders have either 5 or 6 pins. This gives almost 3 times as many key combinations than a typical cylinder lock.

Secure & Safe

Each end of the Ultion lock features 20 hardened steel pins and plates, precisely positioned to protect against a drill attack.

All Ultion locks are backed with the Ultion security guarantee against burglary by lock snapping. This guarantee does not ask the homeowner to report on the performance of the installer, as some guarantees do.

FAQs

How do I measure a Euro cylinder?

You will need to measure the cylinder in order to get the correct size.

To remove an existing cylinder you must remove the fixing screw which goes through the middle of it (you can get to the screw at the edge of the door), then put the keys in and turn them slightly. You should then be able to slide the cylinder out of the door.

Then measure sizes ‘A’ and ‘B’ as shown in the diagram.

How to measure a cylinder lock diagram

The A & B sizes will tell you which size cylinder you need. For example, if A = 45 mm and B = 50 mm you need a 45/50 size cylinder.

The industry standard width and height of a Euro cylinder is 17 x 33mm.

Please note that the cylinder should not project more than 3mm from the face of the escutcheon or handle backplate.

What is TS007?

TS007 is a standard developed in response to concerns over cylinder attacks. The standard is characterised by a 3 star rating system, and can be achieved by combining a 1 star cylinder with a 2 star security door furniture solution.

The TS007 kitemark has been developed by the Glass and Glazing Federation and the Door & Hardware Federation. Consultation and support comes from many leading industry associations and the Police.
