16T85 pivot shoe for sliding sash balances.
A pivot shoe works in tandem with a pivot bar, and it connects the sash to the balances. The protruding part of the pivot bar fits into the slot of the pivot shoe. The balance connects via the slots on the top of the pivot shoe. Once connected, this allows a sash window to slide up and down. It also allows the sash to be tilted into the room for cleaning and maintenance.

Perfect replacement shoe slider for those old ones that have broken through age or rusting. It fits well and slides nicely. There are three angle options for attaching the spring. It has the shape and durability to be manhandled into the slot with only one side removed. The brake is ok but cannot stop a spring at more than half extension.

Having searched the internet for a Pivot Shoe, I desperately needed to replace a broken one I had in a sash window which is about 20 years old. I was absolutely delighted to stumble across the 16T85 from DG Supplyline which was the perfect replacement. There are so many different types and sizes of Pivot Shoes out there!
